Alpha Disc Extraction System

This chain is available in Langstroth format. It is designed for 50 to 200 hives. It does not generate any wax cappings: no capping processing equipment such as a centrifuge, melter, or press is required.

Economical, ergonomic and compact at 2.60 m: allows a single person to extract between 100 and 130 supers in 8 hours, or between 900 and 1170 frames.

This Alpha Disc extraction chain consists of:

1. Alpha Disc uncapping machine – Ref. ME1032 :
The Alpha Disc manual uncapping machine uses heated discs for uncapping without leaving any wax capping (with thermostatically controlled electric heating). This disc-based uncapping system is based on THOMAS' expertise and has been used on our Delta Plus uncapping machines since 1999.

2. Heated settling tank – Ref. ME1081:
Pre-filtration settling tank with thermostatically controlled electric heating – 220 V. Supplied with automatic pump trigger.

3. Vane pump:
Self-priming stainless steel vane pump for transferring extracted honey to a drum or settling tank. Automatically controlled by the level sensor of the 220V settling tank.

4. Alpha Plus 28-frame extractor with infeed/outfeed conveyor – Ref. ME1080 :
Alpha Plus horizontal axis extractor with a capacity of 20 Hoffmann frames and its two conveyors of 20 frames. Ability : 4 to 5 extraction cycles per hour depending on the temperature and viscosity of the honey. Programmable cycle duration, acceleration ramp and stages – 220 V.
