Description

Instructions for Use: General Principle: It is installed in spring and autumn, and removed in summer and winter. However, it all depends on your judgment. In winter, when temperatures are cold, the entrance reducer can be completely removed. This allows the bees to remove dead bees from the hive. It is crucial to prevent any obstruction of the entrance, which would create condensation inside the hive. Spring arrives, the bees begin cleansing flights, and the entrance reducer is then set to the smallest opening. The queen will increase her egg-laying, and the brood will need as much warmth as possible. When temperatures rise, switch to the largest opening. In summer, it is hot, the bees are happily foraging for nectar, and there is a significant amount of activity. The entrance reducer can be completely removed. In autumn, as soon as the honey is harvested and the feeder is installed, the entrance reducer is set to the smallest opening. Limiting looting is very important and provides increased protection against mice looking for a nest! Keep it like this until mid-December or when you feel winter has truly arrived. By then, the mice will have already found another home.
