Formic Pro is used by placing two strips directly on the brood frames inside the brood chamber for 14 days. The treatment works through formic acid vapors that kill varroa mites, including those inside capped brood cells. It should be applied in mild weather (50–85°F / 10–29.5°C, ideally 60–77°F / 15–25°C). Always wear gloves, goggles, and a mask, and remove the strips after the treatment period. *This treatment can be used during honey harvest.*
